New ABLOY BEAT CUMULUS app version released for Apple devices in AppStore

We released a new application version March 6th for Apple devices in the AppStore under the name ABLOY BEAT CUMULUS. After this release, the apps for both Android and Apple devices are consistent.

The ABLOY BEAT CUMULUS application improves support for the entire device portfolio, and in particular responds to the challenges that the ABLOY CUMULUS and ABLOY BEAT Controllers caused with the old application. In summary, the features are as follows:

• Improved support for the entire ABLOY CUMULUS and ABLOY BEAT locking device portfolios
• User approval for collecting analytics data to support operational development
• Support for manual closing
• The new app version requires the use of iOS 14 or newer.

To activate the use, the application must be registered; registration completed with the ABLOY BEAT application will not be transferred to the new application.

It is still possible to use the old ABLOY BEAT application. However, the application will not be developed further and after a short transition period we will remove the application from the application stores.
