Abloy encourages experimenting a wide variety of tasks and developing within his or her own role. This creates opportunities to learn and develop new ways of working that are close to one's heart. Tuija is a good example of this, having initially worked as a telephone exchange operator, she moved on to become an export assistant and later was promoted to export manager and then to regional manager.
In her current role as Head of Business Development, Tuija works with international clients and travels in different countries, for which she is especially grateful.
- In addition to internationality, I find my work very important, as I have been able to contribute to the personal and burglary security of the world, but also to ease people’s everyday lives.
Abloy encourages employees to work independently, which creates new ways of working and incites taking responsibility for his or her own work. At the same time, great co-workers makes the work community feel like a family. Tuija states that it’s impossible to do everything alone, because power comes from doing things together.
- The bonus in this job is meeting new people. There are many friends in the world I have met through my work. I have also gotten involved in interesting international events. Thus, I have such a wide range of stories left in my back pocket that I should probably write an Abloy memoir with my colleagues at some point, Tuija laughs.
