The career story of Software engineer Gaurav Tinkhede

- At first I worked on the Java software platform, but soon I got to develop my skills on the DevOps side, for example. Abloy has many possibilities, and I’m not tied to just one specific area. If you have interest, you can go anywhere and show what you can do, Tinkhede says.
The products developed in many software houses does not reach a concrete, physical dimension. At Abloy, the combination of physical security solutions and the digital world has opened up a whole new level of working and software development for Tinkhede.
- Through this, I have been able to work with completely new technologies and have a new way of thinking about how to develop functional products, Tinkhede says.
In addition to interesting work assignments, Tinkhede attaches importance to Abloy’s international work environment, which does not only provide an opportunity for career development, but is also present in everyday life - as customers, products, colleagues and practices.
- When something is announced, the notice will always be in both Finnish and English. I don't feel like a foreigner working among Finns, but as a part of a large community.
