Installing solenoid door locks or motor locks, doors can have a similar appearance to mechanically operated doors in the same building, whilst giving the functionality of an access control door. Retrofitting is made simple as ABLOY Electric Locks are conveniently designed to fit seamlessly and flush into the door frame of both new and old buildings.

Functions
  • Handle control – open by handle
  • Push/pull – open by pushing or pulling

Lock types by operations for different needs

  • ABLOY Motor Locks provide an ideal solution for commercial properties, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and other high-traffic areas where doors need to be unlocked during the day and require high-security locking at night. The push and pull feature enables users to open doors without using the door handle and can also be integrated into access control systems and door automatics. The operation of the locks can be controlled via keypad or various types of credential readers.
  • ABLOY handle controlled locks operate based on a solenoid, which does not move/control the bolt but affects the functionality of the handle. Handle operated locks are suitable for example for internal doors in offices and other less trafficked doors.
