Product Discontinuation
We would like to remind you of our previous announcement in October 2020 that with an increased focus on our legally protected keying platforms such as ABLOY® Protec2 and ABLOY® Sentry, Abloy Oy has decided to discontinue ABLOY® Disk Lock Pro.
This initiative and increased focus on our core patented keying platforms will allow for more efficient procurement and increased service levels to our valued customers.
ABLOY® Disk Lock Pro was an evolution of the rotating disc locking principle launched in 1992. Legal protection on Disk Lock Pro has long since expired and from the 31st July 2023 all Disk Lock Pro components will be made obsolete and will not be available for sale.
With security always at the front of mind, existing users of redundant keying platforms are urged to please contact our sales team to discuss upgrading your Disk Lock Pro key system to ABLOY® Protec2 which is our latest patent protected keying platform.
